The service

RunbookHQ is a hosted workbench for scripts, runbooks, standards, and reports. You get an account, you join or create organizations, and you put work in the list. The product runs on Vercel and Supabase. There is no published uptime SLA.

Your content

You and your organization own the items you create. You are responsible for what you store, share, and invite people to see. Restricted folders hide content from people without a grant; they are not a substitute for legal privilege.

Scripts stay on your machine

The hosted app does not execute scripts or report generator code. The desktop app confirms in a native dialog before a local run or before picking report sources. Output does not go to our servers. You are responsible for what you run on that computer.

MCP and tokens

A personal token on Account → MCP has the same access you have, capped by the organization's MCP policy. Keep the token secret. Revoke it if it leaks. The hosted MCP server never runs scripts or generator code.

Plans

Free, Team, and Scale are described on Pricing. Entitlements enforce when Stripe Checkout is live. You can cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal when a subscription exists.

Acceptable use

Do not break the law, attack the service, or use it to store material you do not have the right to keep. We may suspend an account that harms the project or other organizations.
